Our Dance Teacher:
Lenna Caraway & Daughter Lola
Lenna Caraway began dancing at the age of 3 at Bean School of Dance in Fernandina Beach, FL where her mother was a dance teacher. While studying at Bean School of Dance she won several awards and solo awards at various dance competitions in states of Florida and Georgia. After graduating from Fernandina Beach High School she Furthered her dance training and become a member of the Florida Community College Dance Repertoire Company.
Ms. Lenna was awarded a full scholarship and studied under ballerina Linda Jerkins and Modern professor Rosemary Fletcher. While a member of FCCJ Repertoire Company, she was selected as principal dancer for a piece set by famous jazz and modern choreographer Wes Veldink. She also performed at the American College Dance Festival in Miami Fl. During her dance training she also traveled to New York City and studied with Frank Hatchet and Sheila Barker. In 2001, Ms. Lenna realized she had a passion for teaching and choreographing. She started teaching dance at Bean School of dance, where she still teaches today. There along with Bravo! school of Dance and Theater. Ms. Lenna is super excited to be joining The Vide Dance Studio and is ready to share her love of dance!
