VPK is a Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten government funded state program designed to prepare our Florida children for kindergarten. At Early Impressions we have established a first-class structured learning program that certifies success! Our classes are small, our teachers are well educated, our curriculum is challenging, and our success shows in our school readiness scores. With the upcoming school year, we are approaching our 17th year and look forward to making Early Impressions a memorable experience for both you and your child!
Our program is very unique. We use every day “life” occurrences as a guide for learning. Our program is designed around weekly themes that correspond with our curriculum and activities that encourage their minds to learn and grow. Our students excel in all areas of reading writing and arithmetic. We offer a well-rounded curriculum, by adding Spanish, science, field trips, music and art. We believe a good education begins with loving, caring parents, teachers and mentors. Come check us out and “See what the Buzz is all about”!
Early Impressions places a lot of value on Science. Each year we hatch chicken and duck eggs in an incubator. The children learned how to take care of them by feeding and nurturing them while watching them grow. We also watched ladybugs, butterflies, ants, and frogs develop into living creatures and set them all free into the environment when they were ready. The children really enjoyed these experiences. Each week we focus on a different theme, from All about me, to dinosaurs, space, family, farms, ocean life and so much more. We strive to get our children to the place where learning is fun!
Graduation is one of the most exciting days of the year! Our children get the chance to shine for their families and close friends as they walk to receive their diplomas and acknowledge they are now kindergarteners. Together, we celebrate with many joyful memories and future dreams.
